Remedios Díaz-Oliver was born in Havana.  She holds a master of Business Administration and a PhD in education from Havana University.  Diaz Oliver family arrived in Miami in 1961. She is the President and CEO of All American Containers, Inc. Founded in 1991, a leading supplier in the United States of glass, plastic and metal containers and caps with operations in Miami, Tampa, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Atlanta and Dallas.  Remedios and husband Fausto continue to preside over the company’s expansion across the United States and abroad. Remedios has received the “E” Award (Excellence in Export) by President Lyndon Johnson; Outstanding Woman of the Year, American Red Cross; Entrepreneur of the Year, Chamber of Commerce of Miami, 1986; Entrepreneur of the Year, Inter-American Businessmen’s Association; Business Woman of the Year, U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, 1987.
