Enrique Ros was a Miami based Cuban-American historian, businessman and father of Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, the most senior U.S. Representative from Florida and former Chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee from 2011-2013.
He was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba in 1924. He founded Ros Forwarding, a successful freight forwarding business. Ros authored 19 books on Cuban history and politics and was working on his 20th when he passed away.
