encarlos Canela was born in 1988 in Miami, Florida to Cuban parents. He is a singer, songwriter and actor. Canela starred in the soap operas, the most well known is Más sabe el diablo.

In 2012, in collaboration with Emilio Estefan, Canela recorded the song “Sueña” for Telemundo’s coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics. He won Artist of the Year in the 2013 awards show Premios Juventud.
